Donald Amoruso, President and CEO

Donald Amoruso brings 18 years of experience as a management consultant with mission-critical corporate information services to companies, including strategy development, process reengineering, and delivery leadership. He specializes in advising and guiding organizations through extraordinarily innovative process and technological changes that complement organizations’ business plans. He also provides guidance to start-up technology corporations to identify strategic business opportunities and alliances as well as leading their merger and acquisition initiatives.

Prior to founding DMA Associates, Mr. Amoruso served as Chief Technology Officer at Information Markets Corporation, an award-winning online public knowledge exchange software company. There he led the architecture and development organizations in the alignment of the technology to market opportunities. He also contributed to the formation of strategic relationships with AOL, NBC and Excite.com, and participated in the acquisition of venture capital.

Previously, he headed the Computing Infrastructure Architecture, Planning, and Development group, worldwide, at Merck and Company’s research division. There he was responsible leading the company’s global computer infrastructure development, change management and delivery initiatives.

Mr. Amoruso once served an executive member in Lockheed-Martin's Astro-Space Division, responsible for developing spacecraft subsystems for space missions run by the Department of Defense and NASA. There, he earned top commendations from NASA for his contributions to space exploration, and received several awards for technical and managerial excellence at Lockheed-Martin, including Lockheed Martin's prestigious corporate award for Top Technical Achievements in 1995.

Mr. Amoruso is a recognized authority within the technology industry. He sits on the advisory boards of several companies and is regularly called upon as an expert witness in technical intellectual property litigation suits.

Mr. Amoruso holds a B.S.E.E from Manhattan College and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Executive Education program.
